Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Saturday, December 20, 2014 -- Christmas Lights

After our evening meal, we put the three pooches in the car with us (mostly because we don't like leaving them home alone) and we drove 12 miles north to the community of Cambria to see the Christmas lights. These two photo were taken as drove past the decorated buildings.

Cambria has one area where the holiday lights are amazing -- "Holiday in the Pines" which features a Christmas Market. We drove all around the area, but did not park and go into the "Market." We did also drive through Cambria's East and West Village and many of the store and restaurant fronts were beautifully decorated. Pictured here is the front of the Las Cambritas restaurant in Cambria and also the Sea Shanty, which is in Cayucos, where we own a tiny residence.

Next year I would love to go on one of the Christmas tours at the Hearst Castle, which is just about 4 miles north of Cambria.

Good night from California's Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
