High Bridge

At this end of the High Street, the River Welland flows by quite serenely with its few ducks and the landing stage for the water taxi.  There were three of in the shop today and it was, as expected, another busy day.  Certainly, people seem more confident in buying their Christmas presents this year.  I kept my head down and had another go at the last and most recalcitrant of my repairs and am fairly confident that I have now cracked it!  I should not say that as I will now probably find it stopped in the morning!
