From the dark corner.....

A solemn moment...

Well this squirrel looked quite solemn anyway, for no good reason. I only took two photos today as it was so busy. It was a choice between this furry fellow looking concerned - mind you, with such grubby nails after digging holes all over my lawn who can blame him? - and a little bird.

After dithering for a while, I gave up and sought advice. Mr Squirrel was the final choice. He promises to dress up next time.

I think everyone saw enough of my tits last week to be honest!

I have nothing much else to tell you today. It was really busy. There were loads of help desk calls from people with heads full of tinsel I think, needing password resets and lots of last minute testing of reports before people disappeared for their Christmas leave.

I speak for many I'm sure when I say how saddened I was by the news of a bin truck mounting the pavement in Glasgow ploughing into Christmas shoppers killing at least six people and injuring many others this afternoon. At this stage, it's suspected that the driver was suddenly ill. To see the pictures of such familiar streets and hear the shocked and upset witnesses giving accounts of what happened to the news crews was awful. I don't know of anyone (yet) who was affected but my friend and landlord David was there in Glasgow shopping at the time so a few of us on FB were a bit concerned trying to find out if he was OK. All was well thank goodness but I think of the poor families and friends of all those affected right now.
