The table is set

The table is set, the veg is prepared, all the dishes, cutlery, glasses and jugs who make there appearance only once a year have been washed and dusted down.

The turkey, who yet again attempted to jump the box is now well and truly stuffed with sausage meat, stuffing will be seperate, and is awaiting a hot oven tomorrow morning. pigs in blankets are not on the menu, only pigs!

I began this xmas eve making shepherds pie it is shepherd because its lamb mince. I visited the supermarket for last minute bits, it wasn't too busy really, didn't bag the bargain as yesterday but a succesful morning.

We then ventured to my dads house to prepare for xmas dinner. I've lost the centre piece for the table, no idea where it is, can't find it. was quite a big thing for a while but like a famous song I 'let it go' not a total disaster but I would like to know where I put
it last year.

So, Merry Christmas everybody, the wine is cooling in the fridge tge turkey ready to cook and the table is set.
