Happy Christmas

5years 65days 
Our day started fabulously - we had a long FaceTime with much loved Uncle Fantastic in Vietnam and his fiancee. They were about to sit down to chicken sandwiches with gravy they'd taken from home, and mincepies they'd had brought out to them! They "Joined" us for a bit of present opening, looking at the tree  and Katie's completed advent calendar and some obligatory face pulling of course. It was very lovely. 

Katie had a wonderful time opening her gifts and was beyond thrilled with what she received, such a lucky little lady and so appreciative of the things she opened. Santa brought all the items on her list (it was a three item list, not excessive!) and she couldnt believe it. Her main presents from me are "Trips" and she is really excited for the first of these to London next week. 

She dressed in her Christmas dress, new Elsa headband and beautiful bracelet to match her birthday necklace. We went to Church and she lit the purple advent candle, ate chocolate, sang the carols enthusiastically and enjoyed it all. We came home to finish the present opening, an outfit change when she discovered her handmade Elsa leggings and we are about to sit down for Christmas Dinner. She's already scheduled a nap for afterwards so that she can enjoy the party at my Aunt's tonight.
