Early morning light

I got up at 4.40am this morning to go and milk.  It was a lovely clear morning.  About 6.20am I took the cows to their paddock.  The fog was just setting low above the grass.  It looked lovely with the sun rising around the hills.  I took this photo on my cell phone just as the first cow was arriving in the paddock.  The ducks flying above, had been resting in the long grass.  Once they heard the motorbike, they took off into the air.

It's turned into another stinking hot day.  It's 2.20 pm and the temperature so far is 29.7 degrees C.  Today may just be the day I have to jump into the pool to cool down!  :-)
