Carcassonne

Set off reasonably early so that we could find a parking space near the old town. It was not anything like as busy as we'd expected and walking round the castle early in the day was not too crowded. The chateau was amazing and it was interesting to see what has been restored inside. The views from the ramparts were pretty good too.
