Wednesday!
When is a Monday not a Monday? When it's a Wednesday.
This morning saw Mum, Dad and I take a trip up to Carlisle first thing to find some last minute Christmas presents whilst The Boy enjoyed a lie in. I drove. I even managed nose to tail hill starts up the multistory ramp even with the woman behind sat a little too close for my liking! Shopping done, coffees drank, safe journey back home.
In the afternoon The Boy & I drove mum in to town to visit Grannie whilst we went to collect the turkey and get the last bits of shopping for the Christmas dinner. With my cough continuing, by tea time I could barely face my meal.
Since they had a high street jewelers together my mum, dad, aunt and uncle have met up at a hotel in town, once a fortnight on a Wednesday, for drinks and a catch up on business. The tradition continued after they retired and so they rearranged Wednesday to Monday so we could join them too.
As I waited for our lift home, a guy in the foyer was holding these bouquets from a winter wedding happening at the Hotel. No other shots and poor light for anything else, I asked to take a quick snap.
