Sussing out the newcomer

After many years of being surrounded by dairy cows, I am now in beef cattle territory. They are just as curious about Ollie as the dairy cows were! They come running up to sniff at him and keep an eye on him as he snuffles about the fence line. Occasionally he has a sniff back, but most he ignores them and concentrates on exciting smells in the long grass. Lovely to hear pheasants in the morning - not something I've experienced before except when staying with friends near St Andrews in Fife.

I would love to blip my cottage, it's so lovely, or my new car - or even tell you about my new car - my pride and joy, bought by myself, chosen and paid for, not in its first flush of youth but very low in miles and just the job for my lifestyle. Unfortunately I can't blip them as my (separated) husband will be able to work out where I am. Hopefully one day I'll be able to!
