Frost by First Light

A wonderful morning, hard frost, fantastic sky and glancing dawn light.  Makes the heart pound with excitement.

Technical:  Straight shot, 1 stop over exposed to keep the ground white, 2 stop ND Grad filter kept the detail in the sky from those high level clouds.

We lost a stalwart of Blipfoto today, Contraflow.  I'm sure there were a number of factors in his decision but the posting of a completely black image says something!  Unfortunately, the concerns over the new site design were not answered by Joe in his Q&A session last night, albeit to say the decision on the new look was made by the Blipfoto design team. Anyway, we move on.
