All that glitters.........

is now back up in the loft :-D

This is Emily our third granddaughter, who spent the day with us due to a school inset day, it's her first day back tomorrow!

I told her I needed some help taking down our decorations so that was our task this morning! By the time we had taken all the baubles and beads off the tree and Emily had proceeded to pull off the lights haphazardly, this resulted in a massive snake like tangled mess in the middle of the floor! It was at this point Emily decided she was going to do something else!

I think it took me a good hour or more to untangle the five sets of lights, and yes, there were a few choice words under my breath!!!!!

After lunch we built one of Emily's Disney Lego sets, a lovely Cinderella carriage, then played junior monopoly and cards. Tough being a grandma you know ;-)

Oh yes, and finally at 5pm we got the call we had been waiting for, from Olivia's mummy and daddy, (eldest son) following their 20 week scan at the maternity hospital...............a grandson maybe?! Alas no........a fifth little granddaughter to dote over due the end of May :-)
