Tullich steading

A lovely day so after a few jobs this morning we went for a drive before going to Munro's garden centre for lunch.
Looking towards the sun was too bright for photos but away from it the colours really stood out. Munlochy Bay was full of water so we stopped so I could take a few pictures. Lots of crows and ravens were in the field behind us so I turned round and liked the image up the track to Tullich Steading.
It's interesting what you find out on the computer .I typed in the nme of the steading and came up with a few photos mainly by a Dr Julian Paren he stays/lives on the Black Isle . He is a retired glaciologist from the British Antarctic survey , how cool is that !
The tree always stands out as it's surrounded by arable fields and the silo too stands proud among the buildings but apparently the silo is disguising an orange mobile phone mast. I really want to know if the mast is actually orange but what a clever way of hiding it.
We had a mozzarella and sundried tomato toastie at the newly extended café at Munros. It was very tasty and came with a nice fresh salad.
It's now 4.30 and still fairly light outside back to Brownies next week so I will have to get a bat walk and star gazing session organised quickly before the evenings are too light.
