Getting ready

Yep, getting ready to 'batten down the hatches' as the weather for the next few days does not look too good. Very strong winds forecast so I've taken down the hanging baskets to be on the safe side. Everything else should be ok. We have the torches and candles ready and I'll bottle up some water too.
The horses were going mad running all over the field with the wind in their fur. This one was abit quieter and enjoying what's left of the grass.
Watching a James Martin cooking programme and they've just made carrot jam, yes carrot ! has anyone ever tried it ?
