Pink eggs!

Today we stayed local, going for breakfast and then to the supermarket to get some shopping so we could make dinner for Julia and Udo tonight.  We find these pink eggs among all the other fresh eggs.  Julia and Udo aren't sure what they are and, after looking on the internet, its still not clear.  It appears they may be some sort of preserved eggs but why they are pink we still don't know.  We take advantage of having the apartment in the afternoon and Freddie has a swim, Andy does some composing and we catch up with emails etc.  

We also ring the Indian Embassy and still no visa!!  After a bit of discussion, we manage to get some information from them and they say Andy must claim his visa by the end of January as it was agreed in November.  They seem to finally realise that, because we are travelling together, Fred then needs to have hers approved before his offer expires ... they agree to try to chase up for us and we say we'll call back in a couple of days ... the saga continues.

We make dinner for Julia, Udo and Lucas and have a nice evening chatting, playing games and sharing a bottle of bubbly which wasn't drunk at New Year.  Good times.
