4th January 2015: Lakeside Lunch

I enjoyed a lovely Sunday at Huay Tung Tao Lake.  I usually take the picturesque walk around the lake, but today a friend and I had lunch there.

Sitting cross-legged in a bamboo hut which jutted into the water, we sheltered from the blast of the noonday sun and idly watched the brightly coloured fish darting around the stilts below us.  After a tasty meal of barbecued chicken, rice and salad we continued to relax and soak up the tranquil vista.  Before we could actually take root, we set off on the scenic route around the lake. Love it there!
