Palmed Off

Poppy had a Hawaiian themed birthday party back in July and this palm tree garland has been hanging in the kitchen ever since. I did suggest taking it down in December but D thought they could just as easily fit in with a nativity type theme (?!?!) so up it stayed.
Today, in a moment of madness, I yanked it down and threw it in the bin.
I think D will be sad to see it go.
While Poppy was at school I tidied up the tip she calls a bedroom. I found 11 pairs of leggings under all the rubbish. Needless to say, the washing machine will be working overtime this weekend.
