Hell e bore ing.........yawn!!

Well in terms of light and photographic opportunities today it is grey, flat, no rain so that's something I suppose, but just not much happening!

We were late home last night, after a lovely meal and evening with friends (1.30pm......dirty stop outs!!). We didn't get up until quite late this morning, after 10 (disgraceful I know!). Then a brisk walk for the Sunday papers, the longer way round.

Hub washed the car, I made a beef stroganoff for dinner tonight. Had a long chat with mum on the phone, made some lunch.......then hub decided to clean the bathrooms ( he's feeling better :-) I did the potatoes and veg for dinner.

I thought I'd better go out into the garden before it got too dark to find my blip for today. Quiet, just nothing happening, no birds around, even my ornamental crane, which had been blown over by the wind, lay face down in the pond!

After wondering around looking for some kind of inspiration this single Hellebore flower drew my eye.........hurrah!!! It is the only bud on the multiple budded heads that has opened so far; so very pretty and delicate, not the brightest prettiest coloured flower you'll ever see, but for me, it has made my day :-)
