Bright end to a gloomy day

Although grey is preferable to white in terms of blip changes, it is not preferable to blue in terms of the sky!! Another really grey and flat day, with the odd shower here and there.

Today involved changing bed linen, laundry, quick trip out to DIY store to purchase two new curtain poles for our lounge and dining room, courtesy of mum, for Christmas :-) bit of grocery shopping too!

Part of the afternoon has been spent looking at new curtain fabric, and making one or two telephone calls and sending emails on boring household related issues!

Then I made a start on organising my photos a little better! Firstly I needed to move all those on the ipad off and onto the laptop, so that I can enable an update to take effect on my ipad! Then I want to organise my laptop folders into years, and finally move the whole lot onto a new hard drive I've just purchased, which will hopefully allow the laptop to work a little faster.........phew!!!

I was so engrossed in the above task I failed to notice it was going dark, until an orangery glow reflecting in the mirror of our dining room made me look up!

Ahhh quick, no blip yet........grabbed my camera, ran outside into the garden and sure enough this is what I saw, how lucky was I ;-)'
