Fuchsias from the window
I often stand and look out the window at the fuchsias which are just dripping flowers at the moment. As today was a busy day with a trip to Nelson in the morning and my day at the historical research room this afternoon, I took this early this morning in case it was too hot this afternoon when I got home, which it was.
I have the window ajar to frame the photo.
The fuchsias are self cleaning- they drop their flowers once finished. Not all fuchsias do this well.
I used to have a fuchsia nursery and belong to a fuchsia club. Now I am down to a few bushes in the garden. They are so easy to grow here and are such a mass of colour for several months.
