Clarissa

Hideously hot again today, but cool enough to eat breakfast outside on our recently-acquired table and chairs. Very pleasant. Then off to see Clarissa, our physio, who is just starting work again after her pregnancy leave. She came out much better in another snap, holding her phone up to her face – but the photo of Guilherme had disappeared, leaving a blank screen.

Trying very ineffectively to catch up with paperwork today, and making appointments for all the tests etc that HH has to do before his hip replacement. The afternoon did involve a certain amount of collapsing on the bed with a book. It’s now nearly 9:15 pm, with not many achievements to record, but it's time to go downstairs and have a wee dram and a bite. Prosecco or beer, that’s the question…
