A Churchy Afternoon

I left my house in Michigan this morning about 8 a.m., heading for Florida. Just after noon, I crossed the Ohio River in Cincinnatti, Ohio, and entered Covington, Kentucky.

I stopped at 2 different Catholic churches. The Mother of God Church, and in less than a mile away...St. Mary's Basilica.

Both places are outstanding, lavish, and a feast for the eyes.

I ended up going 675 miles, and am spending the night in Calhoun, Georgia. Night, night. Hope to catch up when I get to Florida,

P.S. The stained glass window pictured in St. Mary's is supposedly the LARGEST stained window in the world.
