Girl Talk

Popped into Saffron Walden to get Poppy some new school shoes but her feet hadn't grown so we can stick with the old ones.
We went into Starbucks for a Panini and coffee. It's a rare opportunity to actually get a chance to chat without her staring at a screen.
Pops started asking me about my brother;
'You know Uncle Ted smoked when he was 13..... Did you?
'No, but I drank cider and kissed a boy called Henry'
'You're disgusting'
'Thanks'.

It snowed for all of 2 minutes today. A bitterly disappointing result.
