Dads and daughters

Today has been thoroughly miserable, in terms of the weather!
It's been cold, cloudy with frequent hailstone showers.....ouch!

We nipped out for the paper, then youngest son called in for a few hours. I trimmed his eyelashes for him. Yes, I can hear all your exclamations..........it's because he has to use certain eye drops to keep his glaucoma under control, and one of the ingredients increases hair growth resulting in really long eyelashes, which you might think is great, but when you wear glasses or contact lenses, boy do they get in the way !!!!

We all had dippy eggs and soldiers for lunch, a good catch up as we havnt seen each other for a couple of weeks.

No chance of any external blipping today so I went wondering about the house for my blip. I had taken a couple of images when I'd trimmed his eyelashes, some of hailstones on the decking, a big fat B52 on the fence (wood pigeon to you) and raindrops on the window, with the blurred trees in the background.......didn't like any of them.....sigh!

Off upstairs, mooching in each bedroom, until I focused on this scroll type picture in a frame, which sits on top of the filing unit in our study. If you look a littler closer you will see there is a reflected image in there too, but I quite liked it ;-)

Our daughter bought the picture for hub a couple of years ago, when she had been going through a rough patch. They are lovely words that mean so much.

I think it's safe to say that Daughters do love their Dads :-)
