Today's the day ....................... for footprints in the snow

If you've got to have all this white stuff about - it's nice to have a bit of blue to set it off.

Although the clear skies will mean that tonight the temperatures will plummet down to -12 degrees C in some parts of Scotland.  It seems likely to continue like this for a few days too - the coldest snap for a number of years ...................
