Dapper

We went to the local Garden Centre to stock up on food for the birds and to get a replacement tray that attaches to one of the feeders - I dropped the whole feeder and shattered it yesterday!

We were talking to the owner about Blackbirds but then he mentioned feeding up a rather sickly pigeon in recent days and how it recovered and has now brought a couple of friends along to eat.

He mentioned that he had read that pigeons have a great understanding of their own self, how they look and whether they are beautiful or rather dowdy - it made me think this Woodpigeon was rather dapper and knew it. Perhaps he was a bowler- hatted city gent in a previous life :-)
