Clouds Over Kaiteriteri

There was considerable cloud cover at 6.am this morning. I went down to the beach in order to observe the king tide. The water was extremely far out but just on the turn. Despite the clouds I was able to capture some atmospheric images. Then I spent considerable time on my laptop catching up with some photo editing.  In the meantime the clouds dissipated and we are in for another hot day.  
Family members from Nelson have arrived to spend the day at the beach. The high water from the king tide will make for some great swimming....
