Kaiteriteri

This morning Emily, her Dad and uncle travelled via the Sea Shuttle up the coast into the Able Tasman National Park. (ATNP). They were to disembark at Bark Bay then walk/tramp/hike back south to Anchorage. There they plan to camp for two nights in the DOC Camp. It will be a great experience for 12 year old Emily.
Rachel and I walked along a bush track around the estuary at Kaiteriteri and then up the hill to Kimi Ora Eco Resort. We have booked ourselves in for massages on Sunday evening. The view of Kaiteriteri from Kimi Ora is quite lovely as can be seen in today's image. It was very hot and sunny here today... Far too hot to loll around on our caravan site but perfect for a walk over the hill to Breaker Bay again. The swimming was great with the water warm and clear. I am sure the weather has been much hotter here than it was this time last year.
