Utterly Butterley

We went for a walk to Marsden to see Butterley Spillway - the spillway is listed but is under threat of renovation with concrete as it would be too expensive to renovate the current stone. As with many places round Marsden it is beautifully bleak, with the last remnants of snow clinging on defiantly.  The view from the top is here.

Came home and booked lots of things - trains and flights and hotel rooms for forthcoming trips. I have permanent wanderlust!
