On A Line To Nowhere, Aylesford

On regular intervals throughout the year the rail line through our village is closed for "essential engineering works" for part or, more rarely, all of the weekend and these red lamps are placed directly on the line itself. This particular one was at the level crossing on the approach to the oldest part of the village. I really liked the rail line curving away into the distance.
