Mono Monday - Monarch butterfly

There don't seem to be many Monarch Butterflies flying around at the moment, so when I do see one, it is rather special.  This year I have planted 2 Swan plants, in the hope I will be able to produce some more butterflies, but to date, no luck.

I saw this lone Monarch flying around today, so when it landed on a plant, I managed to take a photo or two of it.

It's been another 30 c day - there's no real escaping from the heat.  Our hay is being baled tomorrow.  It will be good to get it all done and in the shed.
