Art Deco....

Love me a bit of Art Deco.... Manchester doesn't have many examples of Art Deco sadly, you have to search them out. This example is Hilton House in Piccadilly Basin on the edge of the Northern Quarter. It used to be a warehouse, possibly one of the last cotton warehouses to be built before the serious decline of the industry set in. It was in a bad way a few years ago but has been restored and converted into apartments. I'd love one with all the light flooding in through those curved windows.
