The Big Moment!

To meet the big moment challenge we took the opportunity to make the most of today's lovely sunshine to pop up to the next village with the camera and tripod to try to recreate our archived wedding photograph.

The church is St John the Evangelist in Cullingworth and in just over 6 weeks time it will be 40 years since that archived shot was taken! My niece is 42 now and is much taller than both of us so we couldn't really include her! Despite being a lovely day it was pretty cold so I'm glad I wasnt just wearing a wedding dress today.

What we know now that we didn't know then?

Well, that we would have a lovely son and daughter (and now a son in law too) who are settled and successful in their careers and, that we would put so much weight on! ( I would never get into that wedding dress now!)
