Jewel heist
Another frustrating day and no work done. Herondina wanted to sell some shares left to her by her husband and we were trying to help her. After several calls, answered by a number of disembodied voices, we finally spoke to a human being and discovered that the process is actually very simple. We’re also going to try to help her sell necklaces made with stones, beads and other natural materials she has collected in her travels, in Africa, Asia and Brazil. I already have two or three, and love them, and today she insisted on giving me the one she is holding in the photo. Terracotta, baked by her in an open fire, and Arabian silver. It’s just beautiful, so a very positive note in the day.
Handyman here to install banisters, but had to make three trips to collect the wood we bought yesterday, as it wasn’t ready at midday as promised. So the job’s not finished and he has to come back next week.
