Jack Snipe

Wetlands Centre visit day two! I've never been able to photograph a Snipe as they are 1. Very, very shy & 2. His camouflage is the best in the bird world and so can become invisible after one quick sighting! Anyway here he is in uncharacteristic stretched out position, he usually looks quite stumpy! Another lovely bird with an impressive beak.
