Wild West Coast

Before we left Karamea this morning, we headed to the beach.  This is the wild Tasman Sea.  There are signs on the beach which state you shouldn't swim in the sea due to rips and under current.  We saw a few people fishing from the beach.  Hopefully they had a successful morning.

We arrived home this afternoon to 28 C.  It was lovely to get away - even if it was only for a night.
