Escape to the wolds ..

What a beautiful sunny day! Mum had a visitor this afternoon, so I made my excuses and left them to it.

I saw more grey partridges - how funny - I haven't seen any for over a year and now I've seen them two days in a row! Maybe they come into the open more when looking for a mate?

The sky came out ridiculously blue in this photo but it's as it came out of the camera and I rather like it!
