Monifieth Beach

A beautiful, sunny day.

After getting my hair cut in Broughty Ferry we drove along to Monifieth. The sun was shining brightly, the tide was far out and the beach was sparkling. We certainly have been blessed with some beautiful days of late in this part of the UK.

The beauty and peacefulness around us here is something we take so easily for granted. Watching news reports from Ukraine and Syria which show scenes of the devastation of once beautiful villages and towns certainly makes me sad and angry. However, it also brings me back to a place of thankfulness for what we have here in Scotland.
