Would you please, please, please...

...pour some more seeds in this feeder? We're still hungry.

Freezing rain and snow flurries had made the (thankfully)short walk to the Bird Buffet very slick, but I tottered out to refill the feeders for the birds. A couple of hours later, I had only seen a few little juncos, but when I snapped this picture there were eight or nine squirrels scampering around, climbing into the tray feeders, and sitting on top of the little house. From the looks of it, they had gobbled up the seeds in the tray feeders and were begging for more. With the temperature falling and the wind chill approaching single digits, they need lots of fat on those little bodies.
