Sunrise at the Estuary

Up at the crack of dawn today to join Riwaka7 at the estuary and watch the sun rise. The tide was just past the turn and it was stunningly beautiful to see the light change in the sky and on the water.

The flock of spoonbills flew in while we were watching, ready to start the days fishing and a variety of other birds were already in place waiting for the light.

Many photos were taken - but only one can be blipped. I hope you like it - it seemed to typify what we were seeing.
