Updown

I went to Homebase and B&Q after chainsaw oil. I bought onion and shallot sets and a new pair of loppers. I followed some backroads to Deal and took a lane signed to 'Updown'. On the crest of the waving hills I got this view of milky sun across a vast expanse of green. Usually electricity lines are something to avoid but here they provided a focus with the wheeling gulls catching the sun.
 
I followed more lanes past a sign to the Blazing Donkey B&B and the Enchantresses Cottage and then to the road sign to Ham and Sandwich here.

The Bakehouse in Deal were doing cream-filled heart-shaped scones for Valentines Day which they wrapped beautifully in a box with two colours of raffia. Very tasteful and tasty.
