at home with an Ivysaurus

By MoGrant

Packed day

We went to Inverness today with Tessa so the twins can be scanned. 24 weeks! they're officially viable- feeling very optomistic about chances of getting close to 36 week delivery date now.

Ivy hung out with Tilda in the morning- and was very impressed with her collection of plastic animals. We went for a walk- Ivy spent much of this time running off in the wrong direction and falling over, in fact she skint her knee and noone noticed till Tessa changed her nappy.

An old man in a cafe asked Tessa if she was my mum (to be fair- he hadn't exactly looked at her face properly), so Ivy has now been encouraged to call Tessa 'Granny'.... It was really nice having company for a scan- usually i'm on my own- we got to see the open eyes of one of the babies, which was slightly creepy. They have very different shaped skulls from Ivy in the womb- will be intersting to see how different they look from her.

When she got home, Ivy was very pleased to see Euan and to witness the unpacking of a box of treats from Granny Grant and Pops. She proclaimed her new green skirt and fairy costume 'PRETTTEEEE' as they emerged.
