Goodnight Eileen

We received the sad news this morning that our neighbour Eileen died late last night.

I think it was for the best, as she was sad and frustrated at the way her life had changed so much in such a short space of time.

I had planned to visit her today too. I've had the afternoon off and needed to go into Blackburn, so thought I would call in on the way home. It wasn't meant to be.

I'm glad I went to see her the other week, it's just a shame I didn't get the chance to go again.

She was a lovely lady and a great neighbour. She will be missed.
