Babies came flying???

Old finnish (?) believing is that egrets bring babies. I have never believed that, as we do not have such birds here in the middle of the country. Not a single one in north either.

But no problem: Now I know the truth! Babies do come flying, but by plane like this one!

I am sorry not to be able to blip the baby, but there is his babysitter/safeseat...

And for real he and his mother were with me in train, travelling from Montreal via Amsterdam to Vaasa with 3 big luggages, 1babytrolley and the seafseat.

This is a salute shot for the young tough finnish mother: How calm, relaxed and gentle she acted, chatted with the boy - and had one of the most charming babies in the world sitting in her lap.

A nice day in Hellsinki. I wonder if I could make a short walk along icy roads in the evening... -5c I guess, strong wind occasionally. Cold.
