Back home

It's far too long since I was at this place, so it was great to be back.

I travelled up from Gloucestershire with my two sons and we had an excellent day together, with the icing on the cake being a 5-0 win for the Blues.

The tickets were a present from my eldest son from Christmas 2013! It was well worth the wait.

But it was not just the football that was enjoyable. It was a nice feeling returning my home city and experiencing that Mancunian friendliness - where complete strangers will chat to you in the street.
