Here be Dragons
Yes I know it's another view of Mont Blanc but I hope you'll forgive me - it does kind of draw the eye.
Thank you ever so much for the stars & fav's for yesterday's view- feel honoured.
So this view is looking further west - those of you who know your mountains might be able to just pick out the Aiguille's Tre la Tete & des Glaciers - I also think it gives a much better perspective of the Traverse Royal approach to Mont Blanc, if you're really eagle eyed you can also make out the Gouter refuge
Some signs that you find out here just add to the sense of adventure - I'd put this one up there with the sign saying "Serious Alpinists only after this point" on the Midi Arete - a point that's kind of already made by the vertical mile drop on your left as you step through the gate.
What today's sign should actually have said was - steep, fun - but a long long long way till you'll find any sort of uplift to get you home!
