Shine on....
.... you crazy diamond. Diamonds can be various colours can't they?
A shite day weatherwise - grey, cold, wet - and I haven't ventured out. Instead I'm doing a spot of work and listening to Christy Moore - not all bad.
Thanks so much for all the fantastic entries into this week DT challenge. Several disintegrating pubs, a mort house, a bird skeleton, wilting tulips and rose petals, sinking boats, landlocked boats, a first aid kit, ploughs, motorbikes, churches and graveyards, a beach hut and drowning boat house , a disguarded key ring , greenhouses and gardens, ferocious barbed wire, various large bits and pieces unreclaimed, even a quick pint (!) and everywhere evidence that nature is much in control.
My five faves in no particular order:
Derelict Road Bridge by EvelynNaylorC - an extraordinary structure and feeling of serenity, beautiful colours too
Blue Mountains 'Ancient'#2 by Hobbs - this week's place I'd love to move in to, so sweet and an interesting history
Rusty and Crusty by Snapper - another contender for most charming, bursting with potential, it's even got a very serviceable barn
Derelict Thursday by Wall - what a very stylish and elegant building, beautifully blipped and hopefully about to be restored
We had to shoot the horse, too by Incredibish - looking so elegant in its decay, beautiful colours still (and I hope he's teasing about the horse)
Himself's choices here
