Levada walk

High over Funchal. We took the local bus up to Romeiros and walked across to the Hortensia Tea House. Wonderful Apple pie (and yes - the iPad won't write that fruit without a capital A).
On to the Jasmine Tea House (newly reopened). Fabulous.

We're going to a free concert given by the Conservatoire students in the Palacio de Sao Lourenco tonight. Never been in.

Bridge was brilliant. Loud and chaotic with the backdrop of European football (mainly Sporting losing). Finished well after 12.30. Safe to walk home apart from a street cleaner not noticing me and hosing me down :-).
