Some Hurt Hooters

Here it is the last day in February, and again there is no trace of the sun in the Sunshine State. WHAT'S GOING ON?

I wasn't going to go to the Save Our Seabirds Art Festival because it was raining, but the rain let up...so off I went.

I really enjoyed the art show, but always have mixed blessings about the seabird rescue center. You know that some of the birds (like the sandhill crane with a splint on its leg) are being rehabilitated to be returned to the wild, but a lot of them are SO badly injured that they will never return. Kind of sad. And...not a great place to take pictures, because of all the fences and wires.

Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. 62...Woo-hoo!!!
