Music and dance night on Don Khong

Gluttons for punishment, we hire bikes again today and cycle up to the north end of the Island.  We take plenty of water and lots of rest breaks but the heat gets to us again after a few hours so we head back to the village we stopped at yesterday for a long lunch then cycle back to our village.  This time Andy is suffering more than Fred and, again, its mainly the backside that is the problem.  

The guy from our guest house has said there's big music event tonight just down the road.  Its local schools singing and dancing and we think its some sort of competition so after dinner we head down there.  They've set up loads of tables and chairs on the football field and the stage and sound system could be used at a festival its so massive.

We hang around for a while but its all a bit boring.  We're probably not aware of what is going on really but there's loads of talking and then the dancing looks all the same to us and isn't that exciting.  Its very loud though!  We head back to the guest house and its loud in there too ... this island is meant to be super sleepy so we're sure it won't go on too late.
