Deep Blue

It's been a tough week with the weather.  The weekend is finally here and after spending the day doing a bunch of odd jobs around the house and a TON of laundry, it was time to get out for a while and unwind. 
We stopped at the pet store first to pick up some supplies for Dillon.  After that it was on to the furniture store to look for a comfortable chair for the family room.
It was late by the time we arrived at the Skylark Lounge but the place was hopping, music playing and lights dimmed to a cozy amber glow.
We sat in a comfortable booth and ordered drinks first.  I tried this martini called Deep Blue.  It was delicious and looked so pretty.  It reminded me of the water in the Caribbean. 
Our meals were very good and it was nice getting out.  We came home watched a movie and now I am officially tired.  Happy weekend!
